We were honoured to welcome the Lord Mayor of the City of London to New Spitalfields Market this morning, during the final hours of our bustling night of trade.

Accompanied by Chris Hutchinson, Chairman of the Tenants Association, the Lord Mayor met with traders and experienced the energy and dedication that fuels our market every day.

To mark the occasion, a cheque for £500 was presented to the Lord Mayor in support of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal — a gesture that reflects the generosity and community spirit of our traders.
