Frequently Asked Questions
The market is closed between 9a.m Saturday and midnight Sunday. Most trade is done between midnight and 9a.m on all other days although tenants are free to set their own times.
The market is open to customers, both public and trade who are keen to purchase fresh produce in bulk quantities. For further information on how to gain entry please email jan@newspitalfieldsmarket.co.uk
Please note not all tenants choose to sell smaller quantities to the general public and please respect this.
No children are allowed on site at any time.
This is a competitive market and as such prices change by the minute according to supply and demand, If you want an indication of price or availability for any product you should contact one of our tenants directly.
If you have produce you wish to supply you should contact the tenants directly.
There are no short term leases and sub-letting is not allowed. Leases become available infrequently. If you wish to trade in the market you will need to find an existing tenant willing to give up their lease.
Spitalfields Market Tenants’ Association is not the market’s landlord, we represent the interests of the tenants as a membership organisation.

The market normally trades on Good Friday, Easter Saturday (not all traders choose to open) and remains closed for business on the bank holiday Monday.
Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
