On Sunday 1^st October New Spitalfields Market were honoured to be able to support a Harvest Festival service at St Paul’s Cathedral  in the City of London.  City Harvest, a charity with a base at the market site, organised the morning and were a strong  presence throughout the service, with their CEO Sarah Calcutt delivering a meaningful sermon highlighting the level of need of so many to source good quality fresh produce and food via charities such as City Harvest.  Peter Thomas,  of Prescott Thomas Ltd,  created a beautiful display of fresh produce at the altar.

After the service The City Harvest team were able to showcase the incredible work they continue to carry out in feeding and supporting those in desperate need at a reception in the crypt of St. Pauls.
