New Spitalfields Market were proud to support the food charities City Harvest and the Felix Project at the  Harvest Festival service at Westminster Abbey, on Thursday 16^th October 2025.

Peter Thomas, of Prescott Thomas Ltd, was on hand to create some of his outstanding displays of fresh produce, all sourced from the tenants at New Spitalfields Market that morning.

Her Majesty the Queen was in attendance at the service, with a congregation filled with representatives from the food industry and staff and volunteers from the various charities involved.

New Spitalfields Market have supported City Harvest for a few years, and the charity now has a base at the market site to benefit from any fresh produce that can be donated from tenants on a daily basis.

Peter Thomas commented that he was proud to support such an important event in the calendar of these charities and was honoured to be able to meet the Queen with his children, who are also involved in the running of his business at the market.
