  • We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our team at New Spitalfields Market as a Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers a unique
  • chance to gain practical experience and a recognised qualification while contributing to the success of one of London’s most significant markets.
  • As a Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice, you will be an integral part of our dynamic administrative team, supporting various functions within New Spitalfields Market. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop essential administrative skills, providing you with a solid foundation for a successful career in business administration.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Handling incoming inquiries and providing excellent customer service to market stakeholders by email, phone and in person.
  • Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence for internal and external use.
  • Processing of payments by cheque and cash and preparing them for banking.
  • Assisting with financial administration, including processing invoices and purchase orders.
  • Collaborating with different teams to facilitate smooth operations across the market.


  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in business administration.
  • 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

  • This apprenticeship role is based at New Spitalfields Market and will last for 18 months (including time to complete your End Point Assessment).
  •  Working Hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm with 1 hour lunch break.

To qualify for this apprenticeship, you will need to be:

  • 16 or over by the end of the summer holidays
  • Living in England
  • Not in full-time education at the time of applying

If you are a non-UK citizen – you need to have permission from the UK government to live in the UK (not for educational purposes) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of the apprenticeship.

Selected apprenticeships require evidence of English and Maths GCSE Grade C/5 or equivalent.

Prior learning: If you have prior learning e.g., a similar or higher level of qualification like the apprenticeship we will be unable to consider your application as your prior learning will not meet the funding rule criteria.
