The Fruit show was as busy as ever with the spectacular display showing a lot of new varieties – we are looking forward to seeing the new ‘papple’ on the market (a new kind of home grown asian pear)
Chris was persuaded to try out the bike that Max MacGillivray will be riding to South Africa next month, it was quite comfortable apparently and it was exciting to think of the adventures that it was going to have on the journey.

The market is a strong supporter of Max’s campaign to raise awareness of where fruit comes from and the wonderful people who grow it, he begins the adventure from the market on the 8th November, we will all be there to cheer him on his way!
